What Car Mode is for

Car Mode brings the live camera and movement controls into one focused workspace for robotics car projects.

Before movement

Confirm device power, the camera feed, the control connection, and the stop state. Place the car in a clear test area with room to move.

Test one direction at a time

Begin at low speed. Run a short forward test, stop, and then test each remaining direction separately. This makes incorrect wiring or control mapping easier to spot.

Use the camera view

Check what the camera can see before adding prediction-driven behavior. The final camera position should give a stable view of the objects or markers the project needs to recognize.

Add vision after manual control works

First prove that movement and stopping are reliable. Then connect a trained label or flow to the motion behavior.

If the car does not respond

  • Check power and the device connection.
  • Confirm the selected output or movement control.
  • Verify the stop state.
  • Test manual movement before testing a prediction-driven flow.
